ALEXIS MCKAY

PRODUCTION MANAGER

Alexis McKay is a Georgia native and graduate from Savannah College of Art and Design. However, before SCAD, she was known as the black belt resident of Douglas County High School, working on every show possible in town. Alexis has always loved telling stories, starting out in dance and eventually migrating to karate to match her stubborn attitude. But going to college solidified that the best way to tell her story was through theatre. She loves how theatre can touch a community and communicate with an audience on every level; through the lights, the sound, the set, the costumes, the projections, and the actors. Her passion in theater is stage managing and writing. Through her experiences, Alexis has twenty show credits, including work at SCAD, Savannah Children’s Theater, Alliance Theatre, and Theatrical Outfit. Alexis cannot wait to be a part of the Nomad family to see the way theatre can help community grow and shape itself.
